Legal / Privacy

What happens to what you send us.

The short version: if you write to us, we use what you wrote to write back, and nothing else. We count page views without cookies and without building a profile, and you can switch that off from the footer of any page.

01 / Controller

Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here, within the meaning of Article 4(7) GDPR, is:

Company
Hakkie IT Solutions Sp. z o.o.
Rynek Główny 34 / 15

31-010 Kraków

Poland
Registration
KRS 0000886065 · NIP 6762593177
Data protection officer
None appointed. We are below the thresholds in Article 37(1), and enquiries go to the address above.

02 / Data

The data we receive

There is no account, no login and no tracking pixel on this site. What reaches us is what you type into the contact form, plus the technical minimum that any web server sees.

From the form
Your name, your email address and whatever you write in the message field.
Alongside it
The time your message arrived and which version of this notice you agreed to. This is our only record that consent was given.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records request data, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and defend it against abuse. We do not read these logs for any other purpose.
Page view counts
Which page was opened, roughly where in the world from, and which browser family. No cookies, no device identifier that survives the day, and query strings are removed in your browser before anything is sent.
What we never collect
No cookies of our own, no advertising or social media pixels, no cross-site tracking, no profiling, and no automated decision-making under Article 22.

03 / Purpose

Why, and on what basis

Art. 6(1)(a) · enquiries
Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
Art. 6(1)(b) · enquiries
Where your message concerns a possible engagement, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Art. 6(1)(f) · counting
Our legitimate interest in knowing which parts of this site are read. The measurement is cookieless and builds no profile, which is what keeps the balance in your favour — and you can object in one click.
Not required
Nothing on this site stores or reads information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary, so no consent banner under § 25 TTDSG or § 165(3) TKG applies. Your analytics preference is kept in local storage precisely so that we can honour it.

04 / Recipients

Who else sees it

Hosting
Vercel Inc., United States. Server-side execution for this site is pinned to the Frankfurt region; builds run in the United States.
Email delivery
Resend (United States) transmits the message from the form to our mailbox.
Mailbox
Microsoft 365. Message content is held within the EU Data Boundary.
Analytics
Vercel Web Analytics, part of the hosting arrangement above.
Transfers outside the EEA
Vercel Inc. and Resend are established in the United States, so personal data is transferred there.
No one else
We do not sell personal data, do not share it for advertising, and pass it on only where a legal obligation requires it.

05 / Retention

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries
Six months after the enquiry has concluded, unless it leads to a contract.
If we work together
For as long as the engagement runs, then for the retention periods that commercial and tax law impose on us.
On withdrawal
We delete the message and your details once you ask us to, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep them.
Server logs
Retained by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule.
Analytics
Aggregated counts only. The visitor identifier is derived per day and is not retained.

06 / Your rights

What you can ask of us

Access · Art. 15
A copy of the personal data we hold about you, and what we do with it.
Rectification · Art. 16
Correction of anything inaccurate or incomplete.
Erasure · Art. 17
Deletion, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Restriction · Art. 18
Processing paused while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved.
Portability · Art. 20
What you gave us, in a structured, machine-readable form.
Objection · Art. 21
Objection to processing based on legitimate interest — for the page view counting, the control below does this immediately.
Withdrawal · Art. 7(3)
Withdrawal of consent at any time, with effect for the future.
Complaint · Art. 77
A complaint to a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence or workplace.
How
Write to contact@hakkie.com. No particular form is needed.

07 / Counting

Counting, and how to stop it

Page views are counted on the basis of legitimate interest rather than consent, because nothing is stored on or read from your device. That makes an objection the meaningful control, and it takes one click.

Stop counting me
What it does
Stores your objection in this browser and stops loading the measurement script. Nothing further about your visit reaches our hosting provider.
Per browser
The preference lives in this browser only. On another device or after clearing site data, set it again.
Fonts
Typefaces are downloaded at build time and served from this domain. Your browser makes no request to Google Fonts.
